Terms of reference
Under the direction of WG SE:
-
To study the compatibility between mobile systems (excluding IMT) and other systems;
-
To study the cross-border coordination situations between different land mobile networks;
-
To co-operate with ECC PT1 when appropriate.

Terms of reference
Under the direction of WG SE:
-
Prepare harmonised frequency plans and guidelines for introducing novel broadband applications in the FS;
-
Study developments in new FS technology;
-
Study compatibility/sharing issues involving traditional FS (such as radio relay links) as well as broadband FS applications;
-
Shall co-ordinate the relevant activities in ITU-R;
-
Liaise/contribute to ETSI ATTM/TM4 in accordance with the CEPT/ETSI MoU;

is responsible for unwanted emissions in general.

is responsible for maintaining ERC/ECC Recommendations on unwanted emissions and will co-operate with ETSI on this matter;

shall co-ordinate the relevant activities in ITU-R.

Terms of Reference
Under the direction of WG SE:
-
define technical and operational requirements for the operation of cognitive radio systems in the white spaces of the UHF broadcasting band (470-790 MHz) to ensure the protection of incumbent radio services/systems and investigate the consequential amount of spectrum potentially available as “white space”;
-
provide, if required, technical assistance on further issues related to white spaces and cognitive radio systems that ECC may identify in the future;
-
liaise directly with relevant groups within ECC and ETSI as necessary.

Liaise/contribute with all relevant groups within the ECC to respond to their SEAMCAT needs;
