FM PT 38 - PMR (including harmonised DMO Channels) |

PT FM38 has worked by correspondence after the WG FM meeting in January/February 2011. Work has continued on the following topics:
- Consideration of possible further work with GSM-R.
- Possible need to revise ERC Decision (98)25 on analogue PMR446.
- Results of the public consultation with respect to the draft new ECC Decision on CB Radio.
- Development of the draft Terms of Reference for the new FM Project Team on PPDR.
WG FM considered in May 2011 inter-alia:
- Results of the public consultation with respect to the draft new ECC Decision on CB Radio and adoption of the new draft ECC Decision for final approval and publication. The draft ECC Decision will be submitted to ECC for final approval.
- How to proceed with the PMR446 issue (WGFM decided to task SRD/MG). WGFM decided to close FM PT FM38 as the work on PPDR issues will continue in the new FM project team PT FM49. Please go to our new homepage www.cept.org to get new information on FM49.
